How it works
- The Zoom host shares the cloud recording with a link that allows downloads.
- An editor pastes the link into the meeting page and clicks Upload.
- Z2YT streams the recording to YouTube as a private video. The short link fills the Recording URL field as soon as the transfer finishes.
- A channel manager reviews the video and publishes it in YouTube Studio.

Can my team use Z2YT?
Z2YT is in an invite-only beta. Each setup is configured by hand for one CMS and one YouTube channel, so there’s no self-serve sign-up yet. Email us to request an invitation.
Why does Z2YT need access to a Google account?
To upload new videos to your YouTube channel as private and set their thumbnails. It also reads basic channel information to confirm uploads go to the right channel and, optionally, checks the processing status of videos it uploaded to help troubleshoot.
Who connects the YouTube channel?
A channel manager signs in with Google and approves access. Editors can then start uploads to that channel without ever handling the Google account.
How is that access protected?
Google’s access tokens are encrypted on our server, and Z2YT never sees a password. A manager can revoke access at any time in Google Account permissions, or by emailing us.
Does Z2YT publish anything?
No. Every upload is private. A person on your team edits and publishes it in YouTube Studio.
